 Especially if you happen to have feet larger than a department store deems “cute.”

 

It’s Not Just You. It’s the Industry.

Once you cross that magical threshold — somewhere around a women’s size 10 or 11 — your options shrink like a wet wool sweater.

  • No more bright colors

  • No more fun patterns

  • Definitely no more style

  • And God forbid you want a wide width too

Suddenly, you’re stuck choosing between orthopedic soles and men’s sneakers. And neither one says, “I’m a confident, stylish human being with feet that deserve joy.”

 

Why Do Big Feet = No Personality?

It makes no sense. We don’t stop being ourselves just because our feet grew.
 But the fashion industry acts like people with big feet should apologize for existing — or at least be quiet about it in neutral tones and thick soles.

Here’s the truth:

You deserve shoes that feel like you, no matter the number on the label.

 

 

My Breaking Point

For me, it was when I finally sized out of women’s shoes altogether.

What little style I had left vanished in a puff of beige.
 Suddenly, I was stuck in men’s shoes — and not the cool ones, either.
 Just row after row of brown, black, and blue.

I remember thinking: “This can’t be it. I’m supposed to give up self-expression because my feet hit a size 12?”

That was the moment I stopped settling and started designing.
